Health: So far, so good.
Temperment: Very charismatic boy, with a great character.  He definitely knows how good he looks, but i dont think it goes to his head!  He is so large and squishy that he does not do much during playtime but watch everyone else play!  He definitely likes to be cuddled, but is also very curious.  Although he does not join in, he loves just sticking his nose in the air and smelling/watching the others.
Comments: I had my eyes on Perry from day one, but he was not available.  I got Mocha, his sister, and brought her home to quarantine.  Not long after, Perry became available.  I just can't say no to an Agouti Boy!  He is now home, starting to get to know his new cagemates. Introductions went smoothly, and they are already buddies!  He will be living with Captain jack and Hennessy.  Once they are big enough to not squeeze through the bars, they will move to one of the big boy cages.  Perry is already HUGE, so...that should not be too long for him.

On a bit of a side note: When i first saw Perry's sister, i knew instantly that she was twice the size of the girls her age from my litter i had at the time.  Now that she's out of quarantine, my girls are almost the same size as her, maybe a little smaller..  With Perry however, his large size is VERY evident when looking at the following photo's.  The first one is with a rat that was born on Febrauary 2, 2006.  He's only a few days younger than Perry, and he's VERY noticably smaller.  The second picture is of Perry with Hennessy, a rat born in early November!!! Hennessy is a LITTLE bit bigger, but not much.  He's more fatter than anything else, if he lost a little of the excess weight, they'd be about the same size.  I strive for large rats, so having this boy gives me high hopes.  WIll he continue to grow faster than rats his age? We'll see!
